I love Jennifer Rizzo’s blog and was fortunate to be able to sit in on some sessions with her when I was at Haven. she taught a class on starting a creative business and it was amazing. She is super creative and inspiring.

There are so many other inspiring bloggers out there. Check out my other favourites here.

Of course, I am totally in love with Pinterest. I recently realized that I had created a job for myself that requires that I use Pinterest on a daily basis. How smart am I? Ha Ha

I am still a magazine reader,  I have recently downsized my collection of House and Home and Style at Home, Cottages and Bungalows etc, but I like to sit with a cup of tea and flip through my FAVOURITE magazine Country Living UK version. It is by far, my favourite “house porn”. I cannot downsize my collection. I keep them all. I have a problem. This is my fav!

Of course, I love Mother Nature’s pallet as well. When we were pondering the subtle colours we wanted to put in our little cottage in Lunenburg, I realized the colours were right there at my feet.

I am also inspired daily by the clients that walk into my shop. I love chatting with them and getting pictures from them of their before and after – seeing the creative juices flowing and listening to them get excited about projects they are working on is very inspiring.

  1. Hi Wendy,

I have this little routine where I go to cozycottagecute.com, then I go down the list of her blogroll. I also visit Thistlewood, Jennasueblog, ourfifthhouse.com, betterafter.net, hookedonhouses.com…oh there are so many!
I know I’m forgetting some good ones. Oh and I’m currently totally obsessed with Miss Mustard Seed’s blog…have you seen her new feature?
Seriously, I spend so much time looking for inspiration that I am neglecting my own blog ;)

    1. I love all of those too, Jennasuebog was new to me though, so I will check it out! Thanks Colette! :)

  2. What a great idea for a post! I love all of your sources, especially Danielle’s site. Her milk painting kills me! As do all your posts about various techniques. I am always itching to try them. And I have a little news for you. I am giving you both a bit of a shout out on the blog today. Gotta finish writing and I’ll send you the link. Have a jolly day, sweet lady!
