Change Is In The Air – Miss Mustard Seed Retailer
It’s FALL – Yippee!
After a super crazy- busy- hectic- nutso summer I’m enjoying the change of season and a change of gears…the air is crisp, the leaves are turning beautiful shades of red and yellow and pumpkins are out, and this year is an especially great time of the year for me because I’ve got a BIG announcement!
I’m really bad with secrets. Like super bad, can’t keep ’em but I try! I kept this one for a while now….phew…it’s been TOUGH! Seriously peeps, I am a chatterbox as a lot of you know, so it’s been SUPER hard to stay quiet, see there I go again.
Anyhoo..my news:
I am very excited to announce that I have been chosen as the Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint Retailer in my area!
Can I hear a whoop whoop??
Maybe an EEK!
I’M SO EXCITED!
It is such a beautiful paint and beautiful brand!
You all know that I love to re-love and paint furniture . I use a couple of brands of paint, Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint is one of my favourites.  After meeting Marian in Atlanta in August and taking the advance painting courses with her and the oh so creative Shanna West  I started studying and working more with Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paints, all the while working on becoming a retailer as soon as I got home.
I love this paint, this brand, the wonderful woman behind the brand and everyone I have been dealing with during this process, from the makers of the paint at Homestead House (it is made in Canada!) through to the other awesome retailers I have gotten to know (so many awesome retailers). I feel honoured to be chosen to become our area retailer!
I am very cramped in my current location (my garage) and have found a wonderful new place to use as a workshop and will be selling paint, painted furniture and doing paint workshops!
I am over the moon!
Pinch me now! This crazy ride just keeps getting more and more fun!
It is funny what happens when you put something out there to the Universe! One minute you are painting a piece of furniture in your kitchen “thinking” Â the next you are starting a blog, meeting Miss Mustard Seed and hanging with her (and SO many other amazing inspiring women) and the next you have a business plan in place, a lease for a workshop area, a FABULOUS line of paint to sell and you sit back and say – wow -” Thank you Universe”
I am so grateful to those that have been supporting me in this crazy idea, and dream – my family and good friends  and clients are making this so much fun!
More details on my workshop location and WHEN I will have my first inventory available for sale (think first of November), the other lines I will be carrying and all the fun details are coming soon – I  promise (remember – I can’t keep a secret)  I will be doing full posts on some of the fabulous Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint uses, for now, check out Marian’s blog Miss Mustard Seed, , but pour a coffee first, and sit down, and be ready to gasp at her awesomeness! If you are interested in more information on Miss Mustard Seed Paint and can’t wait for my posts, check here for some info!
What do you think? Crazy or brave? Would you like to learn how to re-love some furniture in your home? I’m confident that people in our next of the woods will love Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint, and I can’t wait to introduce them to it!
Love the change in season. Love Fall and looking forward to this fun new adventure I’m on..stay tuned!
Thanks as always for popping in today!
Would love for you to comment and let me know what you think!
Cheers, Wendy
